Texas Tech University is in compliance with Core Requirement #2.6.

The University has been in continuous operation since it admitted its first class in September, 1925. The first degrees were conferred in 1927. In 2003, the university was authorized to offer 116 bachelor's degrees, 103 master’s degrees, and 61 doctoral degrees (including JD).  Degree programs are listed at (http://www.irs.ttu.edu/DEGREES/newINDEX.HTM).  Fall semester 2003 enrollment was 23,595 undergraduate students and 4,954 graduate students, for a total of 28,549.
